40th birthdays can be a lot of fun!! We had a week long celebration spanning Mumbai to Delhi (actually it was vice versa) of one of my oldest friends who has moved to Delhi. We surprised her at her Birthday Brunch which was also a surprise for her in Delhi. I must tell you, she wasn't expecting what all she was in for. It was one of the FUNNEST (if that is a legit word) times with my girls, and we also made so many new friends, Delhi gals can be fun too (much to my surprise).

For the brunch, I chose a BCBG crop top twin set, paired with a Chanel bag and Kurt Geiger pumps and am of course a whole lot of Bombay Attitude (fun to be with, friendly, chatty, unpretentious. You know what I mean!! Especially when you are amidst 80 glamorous Delhi women, phew)

The celebrations didn't end there, later in the evening we went for drinks to Ricks, a lounge bar at Taj Mansingh. Dressed in a black and white BeBe dress, Banana Republic sandals and added a pop of colour with my pink Bottega.

If all this wasn’t enough for the short trip, next morning we had a shopping spree lined up to the DLF Promenade mall after a leisurely lunch at Setz (where you make the best sushi ever and seven other cuisines to choose from) for which I wore my H&M skirt with a non-fussy white singlet from GAP. Of course, I dressed up... after all I was in The Dehli (read Delli)!
