Come spring and it's the perfect time to getaway with the kids. We decided to keep it short and simple this time, and Goa was the unanimous choice. After a lot of deliberation, we decided on the W Goa, and did it WOW us!! We were so impressed by their impeccable hospitality, the young vibe, the fun and funky feel of the hotel. Our villa was lavish and appropriate for our family of four. The rock pool, our favorite haunt at the hotel, was where we spent all our evening. Come 5pm and you your find us Turners sipping our Margaritas at the poolside. The stunning view of the sunset, a drink in hand, Ahhh!! An unparalleled vision to any that I have seen. When an hotel is committed to pleasing all their guests, the experience can only be outstanding.
W boasts of two restaurants, The Spice Traders lead by a friendly and approachable Chef Tanveer who is passionate to give his esteemedguests the best culinary experience. This meal was perfect for the presentation, the flavored s to the innovation, whereas The Coffee Shop served the best Goan food.
We were further indulged by 'sweet' gestures. Retiring to our villa we were surprised with a cake and a personalized note which just blew us away.
I absolutely loved the design and the decor of the property, the stunning and opulent chandeliers at the reception, the quirky art works, the yacht inspired lounge and bar at the entrance and the signature glittery W monogram that welcomes all and a special mention to the beautiful ceilings.
The hotel has a wonderful spa by my favorite skincare brand, Clarins. It's a must do and I personally recommend the couples massage. I loved it. We loved it (wink! Wink!)
Goa is about exploring the local beaches and the varied restaurants that have become legendary and a part and parcel of the Goan culture. Each day we ventured out post breakfast to be by the beach and just be beach bums. We ate lunch at La Plage, it never disappoints.
Thalassa for a sundowner, it was vibrant and so much fun, and loved shopping at their store thalassemia. We also had a wonderful Goan meal at the Sur La Mer is wonderful for a Goan meal.
These are all suggestions restaurants around W Hotel.
